I received a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and M.ED in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University. I began my counseling career in the high school setting focusing on students at risk for dropping out of school. After my work as an Intervention Coordinator I worked with students as a financial aid planner for education post high school.
I stepped away from the schools to be at home with my three children and have loved watching them grow and prepare themselves for college and beyond. I wanted to get back into counseling with a focus on working with individuals which led me to pursue licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
I am a native of North Carolina and love everything about this great state from the mountains to the coast. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, attending a yoga class, and being on the water. I love to pull for Carolina basketball and Alabama football. Go Heels and Roll Tide!
